Garlic Prawns
Ingredients
- Butter - 40 grams
- Cream, Thickened - 250mls
- Garlic - 2-3 Cloves
- Parsely - Handful
- Prawns, Peeled - 500 grams
Cook the Prawns:
Start by melting the butter in a frying pan, and add the prawns. Cook until the prawns start to turn a nice red colour on both sides.
Create the sauce:
Finely chop the garlic, and add it in to the pan. Stir for a few seconds, and be careful not to burn it. Pour the cream in quickly as well as the chopped parsley.
Turn down the heat, and allow the sauce to simmer for several minutes until it starts to bubble and thicken up nicely.
Serve:
Once the rice is ready, serve the prawns on top, and spoon a little sauce over the top.
Recipe Comments and Tips
Cooked these prawns the other night and they were excellent! Try using corriander in them instead of parsely if you want a more traditional taste. - Steve
This might seem obvious to some, but make sure you buy 'uncooked' prawns. - Richard
Easy and great tasting. I used uncooked tiger prawns. - Alana
