Honey Mustard Pork
Ingredients
- Cream, Thickened - 2 Tablespoons
- Dijon Mustard - 125grams
- Garlic - 2 Cloves
- honey - 125mls
- Pork Fillets - 2-4
Honey Mustard Sauce
Mix the honey and mustard together into a bowl. Separate around a third of the mixture into a cup along with the cream. You can cover and put this aside for later.
Finely chop the garlic, and add this to the remaining sauce in the bowl.
Place your pork fillets into a bowl, and marinade them with the garlic/honey/mustard mixture. While waiting, you might want to prepare a few vegetables, and even some mashed potato.
Cooking Under the Grill
Pre-heat your grill to about medium, you will need to use a wire rack to cook the meat properly. Grill each side of the pork for about 3-4 minutes each or until cooked through.
When serving, drizzle the honey/mustard/cream mixture over the top of the pork!
Recipe Comments and Tips
The marinade makes enough to use about 6 fillets of pork. I used butterfly filleted pork loin. Depending on how close the pork is to the grill, I used a medium to low grill setting, as this ensures the pork is cooked through nicely. Be careful not to burn the outside of the pork by having it too close to the grill!
I enjoy this seved with a nice, creamy mash and veg.
