Lamb Kebabs


  • Capsicum, Red - 1
  • Garlic - 2 Cloves
  • Lamb, Diced - 500 grams
  • Lemon Juice - a splash
  • Onion - 1
  • Red Wine - a splash
  • Rosemary - 1 Sprig
  • Skewer Sticks - 10-15


Soak your skewer sticks in water to start with, as it prevents them from burning and going black on the BBQ.

Make a marinade of finely chopped garlic (2 cloves), olive oil (a good dash), a splash of red wine if you have any, and/or a very small dash of balsamic vinegar. A good sprinkling of chopped rosemary, and some lemon juice.

Mix it all together in a bowl with your diced lamb and let it sit for an hour or 2.

Creating the Skewers

Alternate between chunks of capsicum, onion and lamb on the skewers, and pour any left over sauce on them while they are cooking. These go great with a Greek salad, and some bread!
